Deploying the infrastructure for a private cloud is just the first step. Once it’s in place, IT administrators have to monitor those resources to ensure that the infrastructure SLAs are met, quickly find the causes for any problems, and plan for future growth.
Operations Manager and Virtual Machine Manager for Microsoft System Center can help with all of these tasks. The benefits include less downtime, better user experiences, adherence to SLAs, and lower overall costs.

SCCM 2007, 2012 (and others old versions) | Reminder | The code site list not to be used in your environment

No comments janvier 14th, 2012

Hi All geek friend and all,

If you want implement SCCM, it’s needed to use one or lot of code site. (Client assignation)

Site code : A three-character code that Configuration Manager uses to uniquely identify a Configuration Manager site.

——————————————————————————————

You can find under the list of site code do not used in your environment:

•AUX
•CON
•NUL
•PRN

Several SMS and Configuration Manager components use the site code as a folder name, and because these names are reserved names in Windows, folders cannot be created with these names.

These names are reserved in all versions of Windows.
